June1one (John Perez) is a Puerto Rican contemporary artist born in Harlem and raised in Yonkers, New York. His portrait-driven work brings realism into conversation with graffiti, street culture, and imagined futures.

Through layered surfaces, fractured forms, and cybernetic details, June1one explores identity, memory, resilience, pressure, and transformation. Each work is built as more than an image—it is a record of what people carry, survive, and become.

His work has been exhibited in New York City, Miami, Los Angeles, Spain, Australia, Italy, and Puerto Rico. Alongside his studio practice, he has participated in live painting and Art Battles and has shared his process through community teaching.
