Pentimento
What remains becomes
what comes next.
My biggest and most ambitious project to date. A new body of paintings about memory, identity, and the traces we carry into every version of ourselves.
A defining chapter
Pentimento brings the language I have been building for years into its most personal and expansive form: layered portraiture, fractured figures, spiritual imagery, and imagined futures.
I am approaching this series as a turning point in my practice. The ambition is to make work that holds everything that brought me here—and sets the direction for what comes next. Each painting asks more of me in scale, intention, and execution.

Beneath the surface
The title speaks to what survives beneath a new image. Earlier marks, decisions, and histories become part of what follows.
In this body of work, transformation leaves evidence. Forms fracture. Surfaces accumulate. The human figure moves between vulnerability and strength, carrying a past that cannot be entirely erased.
Inside the making
In development · Studio documentation coming soon
This page will grow alongside the paintings. Studio photographs, close-up details, and video will document the work as it takes shape—from the first layers to the finished surfaces.
You are arriving at the beginning. Return to follow the decisions, revisions, and discoveries that become Pentimento.
